What do singles struggle most with?
A 2025 YouGov survey found some surprising answers.
Men are looking for a partner who treats them with kindness and appreciation.
Nearly 1 in 4 also find it difficult to meet someone who wants marriage and kids.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the gender divide…
Women also struggle meeting someone who’s interested in something more, though they’re open to what that “more” might consists of.
And kindness and appreciation are equally important to them.
Notice that financial stability and faith – two cornerstones of traditional relationships – are no longer as important to modern singles. It’s more important to meet someone who treats them well and takes their relationship seriously.
